I think she's suffering from a rather nasty dose of 'flu having made a quick trip to the Northern Hemisphere to visit her sister, the Freezing Cold Fairy.
She's a fickle cow, that Fairy. Gone like (and with) the wind all day, and now suddenly back with bells on. Ay caramba. What next, Jake Gyllenhaal and enormous snowstorms? :D
We were dumped on in Sydney too... On my way back to work from a call this afternoon, I drove along a road that had fallen trees, blown-down fences & powerlines, miscellaneous debris... the works. Apparently a windstorm of about 110kmh did it all in about 5 minutes! All that & rain rain rain.
I can't wait for the weather reports of the apocalypse:
Tomorrow we can expect a cool frosty day in hell on earth with possible showers of burning coal in the afternoon so don't forget your acid-rain coats. The weather looks to freshen up by the weekend as the glaciers move in causing flurries of small furry animals migrating steadily south to attack on site due to starvation and deliria from dehydration. By the end of the weekend we can look forward to more raining fire as the volcano's spew forth rivers of molten rock and clouds of toxic gas as they are squeezed pimple-like through tectonic pressure from the encroaching glaciers.

It's a lovely clear sky tonight though...

The ice-age encroaches...global warming accelerating the phase between iceages...paradox prevails...

And now for the sport...
