Weighed myself yesterday. I've been on these antibiotics for just over four days, and so far, I've lost 3.5 kilos. I'm hungry, but I don't feel like eating (unless it's fruit - I am so glad stone fruit season has started), and I'm having difficulty with what I am eating. It's like the morning reflux has extended itself out to cover the entirety of the day except for 11 to 12 pm. Coughing, sneezing, drinking water, brushing my teeth - it's like my stomach is incontinent or something.
For those of you who need the extra details, I was weighing myself fully clothed, fully hydrated, and after eating, and it was half a kilo into the 'a little underweight' range. 3.5 kg is 6.5-7% of my stable healthy mass. 49.5 kg gives me a BMI of 19.82, and I have another six days to go.
I am a little panicky about losing more mass - I remember not having any padding. Heck, I remember the difference it made when I got my BMI up past 17. And the difference (for me) between 20 and 21 is an amazing amount of energy and emotional stability.
Fortunately, the dizziness from the previous antibiotics appears to be clearing up.

Hope that you get to feel somewhat better soon and don't lose too much more weight. It's very irritating to have to use a magnifying glass when talking to someone!
