A cavalcade of 12-or-14-year-olds on bikes just went past. At least they were all wearing helmets... And riding on the footpath is safer for all concerned in the CBD, except near primary schools at this time of morning. There may have been up to 20 of them. Possibly a school trip. More just went past, with an adult. These ones were all riding on the street, none on the footpath.

Yesterday they were riding on the linear park bikeway. One fell off. Another turned to look whilst still travelling in a forward direction. Since I was in the forward direction and had to evade I wasn't impressed.

And I get into trouble with people in my car when I try to reach across for the passenger door handle to inflict some overdue karma whenever I'm passing bike riders...
