Does anyone else here make their holepuncher punch holes by thumping it down? Am I the only one who regularly tries to make holes in too many pieces of paper at once?
My procedure: Put the whole ensemble on a low table, squish papers in, place heel of palm over handle, straighten arm, lock arm in place, lean down with all of the upper body weight.
And thus the answer to your second question is demonstrably "No."
Procedure. Collect telephone directory sized pile of paper together. use paper drill. Make neat hole. Discover it is in wrong place. Make three other not so neat holes. "Sigh" dramtically. Go home.
