More of the side-effects of the Nexium are wearing off. 

• Dry mouth has gone (and now I realise just how much I drool in my sleep, and I keep dabbing at the corners of my mouth because I'm not used to it, not to mention finding it a slight problem at carols last night...)
• Coffee tastes as it should (but I'd got used to the bad taste and now it feels wrong),
• The hot flushes are gone (so now I've stopped kicking the blankets off of the bed, so my SO has stopped waking me up when he's pulling them back up in his sleep and very carefully draping them over me and then doing it all over again when I kick them off. We're back to our usual habit of twice the blanket thickness on me as on him, and I'm starfishing slightly less)
• I actually got to midday today without needing food right now. I think this is a record of some kind for me.

And I figured out how to get my bullets to do this!

I forgot to mention earlier that I managed to finally plant out that basil that I told you had germinated back in October... Yay for me finally getting around to it (long after the poor plants had started running out of nutrients, but I managed to keep them alive! Yay for me!), not yay for doing so between 11 and 1, in hipster pants and a shirt that tends to ride up when you bend over... I now have a decent-sized patch of bad sunburn right across my lower back, where most of my pants, skirts, and underwear have their waistbands. I can't even wear trackydacks without irritating myself.

My arms are lightly burnt also.
