Had ultrasounds today, to check on whether this year's infections have had or are contributed to by problems such as scarred bits. According to the technician, my medical history would make normal a certain degree of imperfection. Instead, my renal system is darn near perfect. No scarring visible whatsoever - they're almost alien-like in their regenerativeness. There were a couple of polyps on my gall bladder, which we shall keep an eye on for changes, but are not worried about. I will get to see my doctor again, and she will no doubt put me on something preventative which is stronger.

I went to the repat in Daws Park, so the technician and I had a lovely chat about how they normally see elderly persons (or rather, older people) with age-related issues, as opposed to congenital stuff. That and she actually told me what she was doing as she took the photos - my normal experience is that they don't - so I got to see my pulse in my kidneys :D So very very cool...
