I loathe rolled edges. The hemming things. Flat felled is easy, I can do that without pinning (although it's not generally perfectly straight if the pins aren't there). Rolled edges? Bah! And this top is one I've never worn, since this rolled-edge hem thingy disintegrated in the first wash. I'm going to go over all the bits I don't like the look of, not just the bit lacking thread holding it together. It's a lovely top, none of the busted edges are fraying, and once I've finished with it, it'll be a pleasure to wear.
And having finished pinning a whole bunch of stuff that looks to be comparatively simple to mend (like, for example, the pair of Bastard's workpants which I yoinked having noticed the top of one of the pockets was going as opposed to the pair which will need patching in the butt), it is now time for me to hit the sewing machine.
