I just spilt hot coffee all over my groin and desk. Fortunately, not into my keyboard.

Fortunately, I had discarded socks in the computer room, probably several weeks ago, so the spill was easily cleaned up. And now the computer room smells of coffee. Mmmmm, coffee...

I was just piking from dance class last night when it started raining heavily. Fortunately I realised that what I wanted to do (drop the bags, discard the jumper, and dance over the streets giggling like a loon) was probably not a good idea, so I watched the lightning and got thoroughly soaked while standing still instead.

And that's three uses of  'fortunately' in this post. I think I need to dig out my thesaurus.
