Got home this morning from the Gold Coast Congress. Sore, tired, managed to faint during play on Friday and now have a carpet burn next to my eye. Those who want to take a gander should go here

The other photos in that gallery are of the dress I wore to the Dinner. I got many compliments on that dress. It cost me $6, and doesn't really need ironing. It's also bright pink, and I never wear pink. Except this time. And the other time. OK, I wear pink on occasion.

Yes! I was determined to wear it, but unsure whether it was appropriate, and then I found I fitted right in...

I find all my best dresses are the ones from the op-shop(s).

They're the only ones that fit. Store-bought generally have the hips four to six inches lower than they should be on me.
