Question for my body:

I know I got to bed sometime around 2am. I know I spent some time reading after that - the book was still in the bedclothes this morning. I know I was not sober, thanks to vodka jelly, and finishing off the red ones before they melted like the yellow ones. I know all these things, yet I do not know why you choose to make me awake before 8:30am. Please explain?
