Parts of Adelaide are flooded out, again. Apparently, some time between my last post and this morning, the Adelaide Hills got quite a bit more than the total average rain for November. The whale in the SA Brewery nativity display was floating down the river this morning, and the stable-with-manger is flooded out like Aldgate and Gawler. That's it in the middle of the photo here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/adam_tennille/61213988/ On the 6pm news, the shots showed water halfway to the top of the stable. Mind you, the reporter was standing in Gawler and saying "See this? Underneath that water is a road."
Some suburbs were competely cut off today.
We're dry. Even the Somme Swamp dried out a bit when the sun came out this afternoon.
The reservoirs are close to bursting their banks. Bring on summer!
