Stone fruit season has begun! I bought my first cherries of the season on Friday. They weren't good enough to leave any for my SO, the Bastard, but they were early $9/kg cherries! Tiny, ripe, cherries. And OK early peaches, nectarines, peacherines. Wasn't tempted by the apricots, they smelled flavourless.

On average, in November, the measuring station of the Bureau of Meteorology nearest my house sees 25mm of rain. Between the hours of 9am and 5pm today, it recorded 6.4mm (if I interpret the information available correctly). Yay rain! I like rain! I'm wearing open-toed shoes to work!

The Bastard is suffering from hayfever. He hasn't slept for more than an hour at a time since Friday night, because he keeps choking on his own goop. Actually, I don't know if that's why, all I know is that his sinuses are filled to overflowing, and he's not taking care of himself. And look, I'm being all sympathetic. He's eating all my antihistamines.

Also, the webmail part of my email account SUCKS! Frickin' reloading pages. At least they've fixed the problem whereby it would time out while trying to load a page, then log you out of the system because you haven't successfully accessed it in 20 minutes.

Trying to decide if I should go see the GP. It takes two weeks to get an appointment. A week ago I was convinced I would need to, due to symptoms of Yet Another UTI developing, and possible Sinus Nasties not gone. But I'm not too bad this week, so far. For reasons of structural problems, I can't leave a UTI to see how bad it gets, or let it get bad before I see the doctor. But my body may be fighting off the UTI, successfully, for the first time.

The Bastard leaves for his cousins' wedding in London in somewhere around a week and bits' time. Must remember to ask his mother when the tickets were booked for.

I have a podiatrist's appointment booked for next week. Hopefully, he'll be able to help me fix the structural instabilities in my ankles, and tell me why they ache so.

Cherries!
