After several minutes of panicking, the TAB key now works. For no reason that I can discern. This being the key that I use the most at work, I was quite concerned when I realised that I had typed my password into the username area because the TAB key hadn't TABbed.
Today will be a klutzy day. So far I have dropped two products to be shipped and busted my coffee mug on the concrete part of the floor. Coffee mug not happy, but was empty when I busted it so not much to clean up.
Spent too much time digging in the clay garden on the weekend. Dry clay. Hard, dusty, needs-a-bobcat work. Lactic acid built up to the point where random cramps were happening. At which point I went and rested. For half an hour. Until it started hurting again half an hour of work-with-hoe later. Silly me being stubborn again. ;) Didn't get the gutters done, but did manage to plant a couple of rows of broad beans and a couple more of peas. Blisters on hands. Four days of intermittant digging will do that to you.
Make that three dropped things-to-be-sent-out.
Nice quiet day, so I've almost finished logging the last quarter's worth of repairs. Have threatened to have stuff ready so that we can have our monthly meeting quarterly instead of yearly. Boss duly amused.
Dropped stapler.
Still coughing up junk, but no longer quite as much, and no longer funky colours. Digging up the clay over the weekend probably didn't help. Probably still have to go see the doctor next week, but might not get given antibiotics at the rate this is clearing up. Just anti-bronchitis drugs. Or maybe not even those. The last of my co-workers to not have the cold that the entire workforce came down with over the last two weeks just went home because he wasn't feeling at all well...
The EFTPOS machine that sits on my desk hasn't changed over to daylight savings (or non-daylight savings, or whatever) time yet. And because the time is set (I think) by the bank which it phones up when it logs on, we don't have instructions to fix it manually. I wonder how long it will take.
Haven't managed to drop anything in the last two hours - the klutzyness of the day might be abating.
Spoke too soon. Shut my finger in the cupboard door.
Time to go - nothing more to do here that I can't very well put off tomorrow.
