Gah.
Working in the Central Market on days like these? I dunked my head under a tap, had water dripping down my neck for the next five minutes as I was absolutely soaked. An hour later, it was as dry as if I'd never dunked it in the first place.
At least we have a fan on a stand. This is a Luxury.
The house is finally cooling down. I have this anti-airconditioning thing going on in my head. Partly this is to do with having grown up without, so I tend to think of sleeping under soggy tea-towels before turning one on. It is also partly to do with the fact that I cannot tell when it's set to 'warm' not 'cold' because yesterday the air coming out was colder than the air already in the room.
Bad-tempered.
My eyes ache. I had sunnies on all the time I was outside. They shouldn't be doing this. That reminds me, I need to get the arms on my sunnies lengthened. No, I can't get new sunnies. They're prescription sunnies. It'll cost me a minimum of $300 or so for the lenses alone, not to mention the frames, and the fitting, and the checkup to see if I've deteriorated. Which I probably haven't even though I cannot make out a street sign from further away than 10 metres or so. It could be further, my estimation skills are improving with use but not that good yet.
Brain died around 10am this morning. Apologies for the drivel. I need water so I can dribble instead.
