Logging repair sheets. All the ones since the last meeting that was held where these repairs were analysed and reports were presented. There are a lot of sheets there, and I keep coming across ones where the address of the sender, the type of whatever it is, and the necessary dates are missing. I need to log all these details. I'm about 20% of the way in (an accurate figure would mean counting all the sheets that have been finished with or were in the to-file pile when I started and that is way more work than it's worth, no matter how tempted I am). Then you get the duplicate numbers. Where only one of those sheets is recorded in the list, so I cannot find out the information that I need, like what needed to be done (more information that should have been recorded fully on the repair log sheet thingy.

Yet my typing speed is increasing, as I keep typing up faxes to send off of invoices and stuff that people have lost.

I must remember to replenish my desk stash - I'm almost out of Chupa-Chups and I ran out of muesli bars and sesame thingys yesterday.

I just found the details for that repair sheet I was looking for. I'd put the duplicate-number sheet aside, intending to have a hissy fit about it when I have the opportunity, and I was looking for an invoice for another repair so that I can work out if it was under warranty or not (one of those unticked boxes). There it was, an unnumbered tax invoice, prior to the last end of financial year so I don't have access to it on the computer, with all the unentered data I need.

There is an unused number near to the duplicate one. If it is still unused when I've finished logging all these things, I shall change the duplicate's number so that it can be found.

I just wish people would stop trying to send faxes to my phone line.

I seem to be the only person at work who does more copies than necessary - I mean, why do 10 copies, when I'll just need to do more tomorrow or the next day, and I can just as easily make 80 copies. And make us run out of yellow paper, but that's not the point.
