Last night I dreamed several dreams, all of which seemed to involve Redhead Kitten being pregnant. Sometimes this was incidental to the action, but I spent an inordinate amount of time picking out baby clothes from my mother's stash. She doesn't have a stash of baby clothes, by the way, except for the ones which she knits and are going to various charities, and certainly not in green and brown (strangely no purple ones were chosen) - I have this thing against dressing babies in sex-co-ordinated pale blue or pink but the rest of the world doesn't seem to share this prejudice. It's a boy, btw, although in the dream she didn't know that yet. And AFAIK she has not renounced her vow of childlessness.

Then we have this morning. I wake up stuffy and sneezing, get ready, get out the door, don't miss the bus, even though I was five minutes late, get off the bus and get five metres before it starts pouring with rain. Pouring in that "I can't quite be bothered turning into hail, but here's my impression of what hail is like" way. I'm still damp, and the sun is out.

I also has a new pen jar. It has pretty functions, like an alarm, and a birthday reminder thingy.

Mental tag for a friend who is not on LJ and who I don't have permission to reveal their secret identity from.

That's okay. Others here may or may not know them, however I'm betting I don't.

Sounds like an ...interesting dream...

There's maybe a half-dozen people who might read this journal who would know just from the nickname and the fact that it's me. There's a lot more who know both of us, but who would never read this journal, unless they were doing a search for someone who I unwisely named instead of nicknamed...

It sure is an odd dream, no doubt.

(sorry, my initial image of a little kitten with red fur on its head was rather striking, to my mind)

More like a very kawaii friend I use to know, to tell the truth... She was kinda like a siamese. Especially with the ears.

...who would know...

Maybe. <grin>

[Admittedly it took me a few moments to remember you didn't have a kitten, but it was before my morning coffee, so I'm not feeling too bad about it.]

And for similiarly unstated reasons: <hugs>

One of these days, I will convince Bastard that I must have a kitten. Or a puppy. Not right now, as the house is not set up to accomodate one. Or chickens, I would like fluffy chickens.

"Those eggs really do look a little strange..."

"Oh, that's because we couldn't manage a fluffy chicken. However we did manage to obtain some utahraptor eggs. Oh look. They're hatching! Aren't they cute. They think you are their mommy... STOP EATING YOUR MUMMY!!! BAD RAPTOR!"

*grin* Silkies are fun, though. I like silkies. One has to neither clip their wings nor make their yard flight-proof, since they don't fly too well.
