Managed to mow the lawns today. Yay for me. I haven't had the energy to do so at the same time as the time in which to mow, so it's been several months since the green stuff was last cut. Fortunately, I refuse to water it, so it hadn't grown much over summer, except where next doors' runoff waters the driveway.

Spent most of the rest of the day feeling extremely unmotivated, so I've been scaring myself with similarities between my own symptoms and this. My major question is whether the episode in Surfers' could be classified as stroke-like or another type of seizure. Either way, it's another symptom to tick off (the last ones that don't require more testing). And it makes me look closer at various continuing-to-deteriorate things. I mean, at what age are my eyes supposed to stabilise prescription, anyway? I'm overdue for a new set of glasses by a factor of needing to concentrate to see a street sign on the other side of the road. And just how much time have I been losing lately? Can anyone say 'absence seizures' to go with the uncontrollable isolated muscle twitches? I know I'm losing some, and certainly twitching more than I did when I last had an episode like the one in Surfers'.

Ah well. The genetic testing stuff at the bottom of that page was soothing, even if the prognosis and progression is terrifying. And, frankly, the last definitive test is time.

gee that disease is a bit scary! the odds though for it turning up later in life seem to be less. Have you had a full check up lately? Eyesight can start going wonky from 40 onwards which is normal. (sorry I dont know how old you are).

My lawns need mowing badly now, haven't done them since January.
